But it does continue to show in things like games. I'd like the option to make it disappear after a few seconds.

Agreed, either turn off in settings or disappear after 5 seconds when loading into an app.

I said I wasn't interested as others had because I though all opinions matter.

If it still shows in games than maybe what is needed is the game developer to fix their code.

nothing to do with an app's coding, it's an iOS thing, and only apple can decide if they want to, at least, give us the option to hide it.

all opinions may matter, but not everything needs to be said...
