Usually your phone is bricked if you can't do ANYTHING with it. If you can even attempt a restore, in my experience, then you are not totally screwed. I used to sell these unlocked phones on eBay back when it took over an hour to jailbreak 1.1.3 If you are still having troubles this morning I'll be on AIM until 12:30 PST and I can try to help, my SN is nomar383

hey man

so i went out and got a hold of a att sim and used that to restore with. I got some progress. after restoring it in DFU mode my itunes showed up with the ATT setup prompt. Now im lost to where to go or do. I need to unlock and jailbreak for my t-mobile sim now. what should i do. thanks

Easy cheezy. Download ZiPhone (I know there are newer methods, but this is what I use). Then hit "Do-it-All". Pop in the new SIM and bone out.
