I'm guilty of it too. I still double-space after a period when the norm these days is single-space after period.

Back in 2012 (I think?) my iPhone 4 got stolen. This was a few days from a vacation I was going on with a bunch of friends. I had to act quick as my phone was now my main device for pictures and the old point and shoot was collecting dust in the drawer.

At the time the Samsung Galaxy s3 came out and offered a bigger screen, more features, etc, and of course was a refreshing look to the boring iPhone. I needed a phone and figured now was the time to try it out.

I loved the phone and all the customization I could do with it and of course one of my favorites was the LED indicator and being able to change the colors to know what type of notification I was getting.

However, after a few months the phone was acting up, shutting off randomly, random battery drains even after doing everything necessary to find the draining apps. Eventually the phone DIED in what the company called a "software kill". They replaced my phone at the tune of $175. I couldn't wait until the iPhone 6+ came out.

Having the iPhone 6+ for two years now, it has served me well, no problems, and still looks brand new from day one. However I am bored now and the Samsung Note 7 Edge has me wanting to try Samsung to see if they cleaned up their act. I may wait to see what the iPhone 7 has in store.

Regardless it comes down to reliability vs. beauty. Sucks that it is this way.

So more accurately the question is why do you keep switching to Samsung and TouchWiz. Not really Android necessarily.

People tend to be a creature of habit and falling back to what they're accustomed to and not because it's better. I know people who still prefer the rotary home phone vs using mobile phone.

That's cool, what retirement home do you live in?
