Poll...are you buying a new iMac

If the new iMacs totally blow me away, I'll get one, but if not, then I'll probably just get a MacBook. I just want the new iMacs to be released!

I'd like to get a new 24" iMac, but there are some things I'd really like that I doubt the new model will have - eSATA, Bluray, HDMI in, and Penryn. I can live without all of them, but I don't have to get a new computer right now. Of the items I mentioned, eSATA seems the most likely but even that is a long shot I think.

I want to purchase a new 24", but I'm waiting to see what features are added. It's either gonna be new iMac + 2nd display and PB G4 for me, or a MBP + External Display.

I Have the first intel mac mini, core solo, it's not that bad, not my main mac, but not bad at all. Will definitely pick up the next gen mini also, no matter what it has in it, or definitely what replaces the mini if that is what happens. Or if they actually get rid of it and put nothing in its place, then whatever next consumer product down the line. I am a collector of sorts.

I've been waiting for an iMac update since September (thinking: Well, in a few months, about March, it'll have nice new features, so I can wait that long). If I knew then what I know now...

Aiming for 20", maybe even if there's still a 17" option. Gonna see...

I think I voted no. Things have changed however. Now I am selling off my xBox 360 and all my games as well my MacBook to fund a purchase of a Desktop Mac. I am sick of using my MB as a desktop. when I first got the MB it was great but now not so much. So yes I will be buying a new 20''

Bought an Intel iMac back in October (the current version). It's a lovely machine, works fine, and is in mint condition... But I'm greedy ;P

Thankfully my dad is in the market for a new comp (he still has his 400MHz G4 tower, the poor soul) and I'm hoping we can do a swapsie, if I offer him a little cash xD

A 24" iMac for me.....I think. I'm waiting until Leopard comes out, and I'm going to hold out for a faster (better) processor, and definitely a better video "card". I'm really hoping that Apple is going to "beef up" the iMac for those of us who think a Mac Pro is overkill.
I'm a switcher by the way - I currently don't own any Mac stuff.

October its either a new MP or IMac AND a new ibook for travel whenever my old ibook dies....it just keeps going!!! (3.5 yrs old/on 6+ hours a day).

I had about decided to get an iMac as soon as the new models came out, but earlier in the summer, I bought a refurbished MacBook for one of my kids who was going to travel for the summer. He has an iMac and I took that to use while he had my Macbook.

I am in the process of switching to Macs from PCs and have a lot to learn about OS X. I can play with my kid's iMac until he comes back and then I can play with my MacBook until October when presumably I will be able to get a new iMac with a new operating system, a new iLife included. If we are very lucky, we may have a new iWork available then too, but probably not.

In the meantime, I can play with OS X and get better at that and get all new technology when the new generation is as complete as it is going to get.

I do think that I am going to get a copy of Parallels the next time I go to a town with an Apple Store (I live over 150 miles away from the closest Apple Store) and see how that and XP work on my MacBook.
