I think that having Wi-Fi Sync is one of the best features. Since I can just backup to iCloud and the only thing I really ever use iTunes for in terms of connecting to my iPod Touch is to copy music that isn't from the iTunes Music Store. Do you guys Wi-Fi sync or do you still plug it in directly?

I always wifi sync. I find it much more convenient to just press a button instead of finding my cable and sometimes untangling it.

I do for my iPad, as the sync cable is not long enough to reach from where I have the charging cradle and I don't have room to move it any closer. For my iPhone, I sync from the cradle.

I do, at least when it chooses to work. Unfortunately the iPad icon often doesn't pop up in iTunes. The only way to fix this seem to be to restart everything.

Tried it and it was nothing but bother. Any listened too podcast weren't deleted from iTunes when synced, only re-added to the iPhone as new. Even syncing a with the cable has this problem but it's at least easier to manage.

I don't. I have my USB cable connected to my monitor so I just connect it when I'm on my PC.

Are you syncing all unplayed podcasts? It sounds like you're syncing all podcasts instead of unplaced podcasts. Check your settings under the Podcasts tab.

I imagine wi-fi sync works well with Macs, but it can be horribly flaky on a PC. This is because wi-fi sync requires a reliable bonjour service, and bonjour can be seriously borked on PCs. On my system, for example, my iPad and iPhone will mysteriously appear and disappear from the bonjour directory (and I've done the nuclear option of uninstalling both bonjour and itunes, wiping the registry of crud, and reinstalling).

I do so every other day when I charge my devices. Also, it's doing backups over iCloud as well, so that's an extra bonus. Wi-Fi sync + iTunes Match = happy customer here.

No, I still use the cable. it's sits next to me at the computer and is no hassle to use. I guess I still have some fear, albeit likely unfounded, of using wireless tech to do certain functions.

The 3 times I've tried it, I received a error half-way through, so I yell "F* it! We'll do it wired!"

I only sync my iPhone twice a month, so it's not a big deal.

With iTunes Match on and iCloud now, and since I never really put any videos on my iPhone, I never really need to sync with iTunes for anything. The only thing I do is I occasionally plug in to copy videos out of the camera roll and clear the camera roll. Photo Stream takes care of part of that for me, but not all of it. I wish instead of Photostream, I just had wifi sync with iPhoto.

This is pretty much my experience. I like Photostream a lot, but if I could get video off my phone without the cable, it would be great.

Transferring is slow enough as it is with the cable, and WiFi only slows things down. At least I can charge the phone while transfers take place, and while lazy I can certainly manage to plug a cable in.

I use Wi-Fi sync. I probably would sync my iPad 2 more often if I could do it without having to be logged in to my account on the Mac. I have my iTunes library on a Time Capsule. I hope Apple will fix this. Does anyone else know a workaround that doesn't involve jailbreaking? The Mac and TC are almost always on.

The length of time it takes to sync is negated by the circumstances under which it will sync over wifi. When it's plugged in and charging because you're asleep.
