Poll. Does 10.11.5 still freeze

If you are referring to sudden, total freezes that last from several seconds to around half a minute, then yes, it still freezes. This is a window server bug that has been introduced in Yosemite and still hasn't been fixed. My original bug report is still marked as open.
I'm on a MacBook Pro 17" Early 2011 and have used every release of El Capitan including this weeks 10.11.5. Absolutely no freezes.
i got the dreaded big freeze...once, on a 10.11.4 beta. no issues since (but after all, 10.11.5 has only been out a few days...)
Problems should be expected in a beta release, beta testing is its purpose after all, this is why we don't use beta software in production environments.

am merely pointing out that i experienced that crash, once, then. and that before and since, have not experienced it. so far, 10.11.5 has been stable here, but again, it's still pretty new (as a final release)...Problems in a beta release go without saying.really? you thought i didn't know that?
I only had the freeze once; where the force touch trackpad wouldn't work. Granted I was watching porn at the time; I assumed it was related to that.

Just experienced one freeze in 10.11.5 final.
Using FCPX, leave it on overnight to render / export 4x 4K video last night. On this morning, all I have is a black screen and a spining wheel. Luckily all video export successfully. However, by checking the load average history, there was something demanding 450 threads for 7 hours.
I realise that the system occationally has this kind of demand for a short period of time, which may freeze the Mac for few seconds, but it's the 1st time I've seen that occupy the CPU 100% for more than 7 hours. However, i can still login my Mac and move the mouse pointer via remote control (same black screen on the client side), the system still respond to hot key, I can use Command + Control + power button to restart the Mac, no need to perform a force shut down. So, not 100% frozen.

No freezes with 10.11.2, 10.11.3 or 10.11.4 on my two Mini and iMac. The first 10.11 was a nightmare for me. Everything is so stable and smooth under 10.11.4 I'm probably forgo 10.11.5 for now. Why fix it if it ain't broke...
Those people also have the luxury they don't have to vote. Very convenient. It's a gift that keeps on giving.
I'm finding my Mac less stable in 10.11.5 then prior updates. I've had to endure multiple issues that required a forced reboot the past few days - not really liking that experience.
