Never have freeze problem... EC is flawless for me. Yosemite was stuttering, completely fixed in El Cap. I just stay away from antivirus/Mackeeper and other useless ****.

Experienced several system-wide freezes. Both are after not using Mac for a few hours.
Mouse can move, but clicking on anything just gives me a spinning wheel. And eventually system clock stops going.
What I notice before system freeze is: Spotlight is doing weird stuff in background hogging CPU all the time before dragging it to death. Or, photoagent process uses all CPU for no actual reason. Or, windowserver uses a hug amount of CPU but not all, then system becomes super slow.

Just moved up to the first developer beta 10.11.6, and it's running as smoothly (on a late-2012 Mini) as all the developer updates have done before...

I have a late 2015 27" iMac that I got the end of February. It worked perfectly until the 10.11.4 update and then I started experiencing the freeze quite frequently.
I installed 10.11.5 as soon as it was released and "knock on wood" I haven't had a freeze so far. Everything appears to be working great, "again knock on wood". :)
