Hello, is this a healthy battery? I purchased the phone on Sept. 26 of last year. Has about 82% capacity, I am still under limited warranty. Should I get it repaired? I've been getting around 5 hours of light to moderate usage (not standby). What's going on here? I have read all the articles about disabling background app refresh and whatnot and I have them all off. That is clearly not the issue here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I think our batteries are going bad, but because they have greater than 80% life Apple will not replace them. Too bad our warranties are about to expire.

This is IDENTICAL to my iPhone which was bought on almost the same day and has all the same stats that you posted!! My current usage you can find below. I'm struggling to believe that our phones battery life is normal as loads of other people have posted amazing battery usage stats! Hoping someone else can shed some more light on this!

I am 81.8% battery life with 275 load cycles. My warranty expires very soon.

Today, my iPhone died at 20% and kept dying at 20% despite the phone and the battery reader software thinking it had >20% battery life left. This has been happening more frequently over the last several weeks and it's been on both iOS 9 and 10.

Well I have this app and it keeps switching between 1400mah fullchargecapacity and 1300mah capacity, so to be honest I have no idea which is it. I'm really hoping Apple could do something. It started when I upgraded to 10. Very weird.

Doesn't sound healthy. My iPhone 6+ has about 210 load cycles and my battery health is about 98-99%. Unless something is wrong with my reading.

It seems like my phone is at a lot more than at 20% degredation. I mean there's nothing in the background, and I'm using it pretty lightly. At 48% right now with 2 1/2 hours of usage and 5hr standby.

Your battery is not healthy. Its rated to retain 80% after 500 cycles. You are well below 500 cycles are approaching 80%. I would contact AppleCare and let them run a remote diagnostic. They might classify this as failing and replace your battery for free.

Edit: See you got a replacement phone.

20% degradation falls within normal conditions.

Yes, but this occurred 200 charge cycles too early. Definitely a faulty battery.
