Possible bad news re UK iPad availability

Yeah, I guess it's just bad news for anyone who thought they could place their pre-order now and get delivery next Friday; now they'll almost certainly have to brave an Apple store on 28th May if they want to get one on the UK launch day.

I visited the Apple UK web store at about 1:00am on the morning when pre-orders were due to go live and the store was down (presumably to add the iPad pre-order pages) so I sat on the page hitting refresh for a few minutes and as soon as it went live I was straight in with my pre-order so I've got a reasonable chance of being the very first person to have placed a UK iPad order via the web store.

I made my order at 00.58 on the 10th. It actually says on the confirmation email 9th May 11.58pm cos of the daylight saving
