iPhone Possible to downgrade 4S to 5.1.1?

From the dev-team blog:

iPad2 owners who have both 4.x blobs and 5.x blobs will always be able to downgrade to those versions, even once you come up to 6.0 and the 5.1.1 window closes (don’t do that yet though!). You need both 4.x and 5.x blobs to qualify for the 5.x downgrade even though you only wish to downgrade to 5.x (you need only your 4.x blobs to downgrade to 4.x)

I have the following blobs:
4.3.3
4.3.4
4.3.5
5.0.1
5.1.1
 
You can downgrade the ipad2, but you need TinyCFW from @notcom

When I try it the 5.1.1 ispw that I have it just gets stuck on 'save target ispw'. I'm guessing that's because it was made for 4.3. So after I've downgraded from iOS 6 to 4.3. Can I upgrade back to 5.1.1? Or am I just over complicating this...?

EDIT: I've restored my iPad to 4.3.3 but it went into a recovery mode loop. So anyone got any suggestions...

not for the moment, it was possible until 6.0 came out and maybe in the future, always save your SHSH's when a new firmware comes out.
 
Ipad 1 recovery loop

Hi everyone,
being new to jailbreaking, i decided to try it today and jailbroke it successfully to 4.2.1 everything was working fine until i downloaded some silly tweak when it went it got stuck on the apple logo start screen. So I tried restoring it to 4.2.1 but itunes tells me its in recovery mode etc etc and now its a black screen and I cant seem to get it to turn on.
I am currently downloading firmware 4.3 Is there anything i can do?

Hi,
Its actually an Ipad 1. Sorry for the lack of detail. I actually managed to sort it out after a couple of hours..all i had to do was update to ios5.1.1 and then absinthe. Didnt realise that itunes stopped signing 4.2.1 hence the problems with restoring! RESOLVED!
 
Is there any chance using the blobs of other iphone 4s to use it and try to downgrade ios6 to 5.1.1 ?

I have a familiar that has a jailbreak his iphone 5.1.1. and i wondering to used that like last oportunity. By now i hate ios 6.

I try using blobs form cydya but it is just one file i need the others.

Somebody knows if it could work ?

Google translate usualy does a good job with translations….

No its device specific, if you don't have blobs for your own phone your stuck at iOS 6
