Possible Verizon iPhone found in screen cap?

Just out of sheer curiosity, does anyone know what it would say if you put a Verizon roaming SIM into an iPhone from, say, Australia? Would it list Verizon since it's the "parent" network, or would it show Telstra, Optus, etc?

Regardless of whether your iPhone is unlocked or not, it will display the name of the carrier you are roaming on. For example, when I was in the UK two summers ago, I was on the O2 network and when I was in Germany, I was on Vodafone (IIRC), AT&T this past May in Hollywood and Cingular was displayed when I was on Maui this past Summer.

BTW. That was on my locked to Fido (Canada) 3G and 3GS.
