Post a picture of your hairstyle

Hey I'm in the process of trying to grow my hair long, I find it hard to describe the way I want it: I would like the hair at the back of my head to be long enough to be near the front of my head (i.e. fringe).

I have attached some pictures.

True or not, you could have said that a little bit nicer.

I knew from the start of this thread on that sooner or later there would be some sort of discussion about the pros and cons of emo-styled hair or just the basic idea of showing your rebellious and immature teenage attitude through your hairstyle.

I'm not saying you should all look like Joe Normal, having an individual hairstyle is great and a great way of seperating yourself from the crowd, but that's exactly where the problem lies IMO - some people just overdo it.
Be it an individuality complex of some sort or just the rebellious attitude, it happens too often with teenagers that they need to get some kind of twisted message across by using some kind of twisted hairstyle.

The bottom line is that in the end, most of you will probably grow out of it.
And if you don't, well congratulations - you may now call yourself "downright hardcore".

No camera at the moment but this isn't far off (except for the grey) in fact I found this picture rather scary ( for want of a better word ) as the main character is very similar to me in looks and most of the time this is how I feel !.

I like the almostfaux hawk style, but only wear that when my hair gets longer. I typically go from short crew cut after a haircut to the faux-hawk-related thing when it gets longer... I get a haircut once every six/eight weeks or so so the style changes dramatically from one end to the other.
