I guess my last "real" purchase is my tuition. 1400$ for a semester, not bad compared to other places *cough*USA*cough*, but the government is bringing that up to 2200$ in 5 years.

Lol, at my university $1400 was sometimes not even enough to cover a single class and books. :(

... and I'll be paying for it for the next 20 years.

Anyhoo, got this lot of 27 PSP games from another member her on the forums. I always love doing transactions on our Marketplace. Seller was very friendly and helpful, I was happy to pay quickly, and I got a great deal!

Rented this... and I'm glad I just rented. I'll pick it up when I can find it for ~$15.

6128755389_008ec49ca5_z.jpg

I've been wanting to play this FOREVER. It came out when there were to many surrounding AAA titles, and I figured it would drop soon enough... of course, it decided to hold its value. I really wanted the CE, but for $15, I'll take a mint standard edition.

Batman Arkham City preorder cost me nothing! Yay! Thank you GMG for the great deals, and to all those wonderful people who used my referrals!

That looks delicious! Too bad I can't have that...I've lost 18lbs on my diet (err lifestyle change) though!! Only 32 more to go!:D

Congratulations. You can still have Pizza. Over the last 15 or so years, I've lost about 50 lbs. and kept it off (still have a few more to go) and still eat Pizza and lots of other food that isn't necessarily "diet" friendly. Mostly by learning to eat less and making better choices when possible. An example of this is Pizza. We used get Dominos (or something similar), now, a couple of times a month the Mrs and I get a Red Baron Singles (2 in a box) 4 Cheese Pizza (frozen) and add Hormel Turkey Pepperoni (70% less fat)...better for you than the equivalent Red Baron Pepperoni Pizza or Dominios. :)

Congrats thus far! Eating pizza today for lunch at work made me realize i could really stop doing that to get back into better shape!

keep it up :)

Thanks! I'm working really hard and am very focused. But I can't say that I don't have cravings. I just keep telling myself I'm poor so that I won't go buy fast food or go out to eat.

Just try to keep myself full on low calorie small meals.

Do you actually play them all or are you mostly just a collector?

I'm replacing my older Cambridge Audio 540C CD Player with the newer 550C model. I guess I'm one of the few people on this forum who still plays CD's and Vinyl

Image

Nice choice! I'd like to have one of those and a DAC to go along with it, but they aren't the cheapest :D

I've already sold off some of them to offset the cost of those I want to keep, and I gave a couple to a friend that I know he had been wanting to pick up for a little while. But yeah, I'll definitely play all the others. I might not get to them in the next few days; but over the next year or so, I'd imagine I'll put a solid few hours into each one, and the ones I really like, I'll probably beat.

I like the collection that results because I can go back to an old favorite and play it again, or let a friend try out a title that you can't get at a Blockbuster or Gamefly. But, I buy games with the intent to play each one. :)

Are those the stock S rims? They look nice.

I'm considering trading in my car and getting a lease going, and as much as I'd love a new Camaro, it just isn't happening anytime soon. I've been considering the 200. What are your first thoughts/impressions? Any pics of the interior?

Anyway, congrats!

Yes those are the stock rims on the "S" model. The 200S is my wife's, I drive a 2011 Charger Rallye Plus, but the 200S is the top of the line model, it has leather and DVD NAV, HID Headlights, etc etc, i will try to take some pics of the interior for you, if she would eve come home and stop driving it all over the place. LOL

BTW, sticker price is $27,885

Actually an ANTI-purchase, but canceled Charter Cable TV. Within the next few hours this house will not have TV service (or reception) of ANY KIND after more than 43 years (and almost that long for Cable TV)...I don't think we're going to miss it.

I didn't know charter still existed.

Oh Charter exists, but it is probably the worst cable company (and that's saying something).

Just bought iBank last night. Once i get all my new bank accounts set up, I'm looking forward to having a nice personal finance program to use.

I highly recommend Cambridge Audio. I have 2 540R Surround Receivers, and a 640C CD player as well. I should have my 550C tomorrow, cant wait :) I've got my 540C on ebay right now, hopefully it will sell for a decent price. It's true, they aren't the cheapest, but they're a far cry from being the most expensive :)

They've filed for bankruptcy, but they're still around, in these parts of Michigan they're the only cable company.

Hope you like it and find it useful.

I'm a Quicken 2007 user (been using Quicken since '92), tried Quicken Essentials for Mac (just got the refund on it) and all the alternatives and didn't care for any of them as well as Quicken 2007. I'll have to figure out something when/if I upgrade to Lion (maybe a dual boot) but for now I'm happy to keep using it.
