Well, I am not in USA, so the price might surprise you.
Here, where I live, it costs about 1,200 dollars but I paid 500 dollars.
If I bought via ebay, I would pay 500 dollars cause I'd have to pay for shipping and import taxes.

I just bought an open item Pioneer Elite SC-35 for $500. Great deal but I would have rather not except I had to since a power spike smoked my Marantz SR6003.

Actually an ANTI-purchase, but canceled Charter Cable TV. Within the next few hours this house will not have TV service (or reception) of ANY KIND after more than 43 years (and almost that long for Cable TV)...I don't think we're going to miss it.

I have been wanting to do this for a while now. What kind of a set up do you have to replace your cable with?

First game I preordered from Gamestop in ages. Actually went out to the midnight launch, wished I was getting Saints Row as well, but oh well.

I wasn't going to pick this up, but I woke up this morning and just couldn't help myself. This is actually my first Wii Remote Plus.

I'm pretty damn sure we could be friends! Wonderful choice of games, good sir!

Anyway, for me:

Went to Walmart at midnight the other day for Zelda, and they told me the CEs were being held for Black Friday, so I only came home with a fattening TV dinner to make me feel better.

Next morning, though, I hit up Best Buy and snagged it!

and grabbed KH:BBS for $10 while there:

And finally, yay for Target Clearance! I snagged Cubic Ninja for me, and Contra for my best friend who is feeling ill.

And for something a little less video-game-ish, I had a nice "day date" with the girlfriend since she's back in town for the holiday. We went to the mall, got some clothes, ate at a local BBQ place for lunch, grabbed some snacks, did some reading at the bookstore, some Christmas shopping, etc, etc. A pic of her trying a top on:

I would have to agree with you there! I enjoy seeing your pickups as well. Good to see another gamer on here with good taste in games (and from Missouri as well!).
