If it's me, I needed most of the stuff I bought, and even if I didn't, so what...I worked my ass off in school to get to where I am, and it's not really any of your business how much money I or anyone else has or doesn't have.
And protip if you were indeed referring to me: just because someone spends a little time unemployed doesn't mean they weren't prudent in saving when they were working and even more frugal when the time came that they weren't so that once gainful employment was again secured, they could splurge a little bit...not everyone lives paycheck to paycheck. Some of the things I wanted I wanted badly when I was unemployed, but I waited until I had a signed offer letter in hand to get that stuff.
