why not order center ice?

Leafs games (and all east coast games) start at 4pm here because I'm on the west coast, so I won't be able to see any of the weekday games. The NHL Network shows HNIC on Saturday nights, which is usually a Leafs game. Sometimes they show a weekday Leafs game as well. So at least I get to watch one game a week.

The early bird price for Center Ice is something like $178.....it would be wasted money. The Sports Tier (which includes the NHL Network) is $6/month.

Aren't I just original? ;p

I probably put about 50 hours into the first game, and loved it when it first came out. But by the time Gears 2 rolled around, I had gotten myself shoulder-deep into college, work, a GF, and computer games. I only ended up getting a few hours in it, and never played single player. But now I'm back in the game! ... Too bad I'm terrible at it!

Also renewed my PowerUp Rewards at Gamestop. Don't like the store; but 10% off, a magazine sub, and a B2G1 coupon are worth $15.

Why so many people hate Gamestop?, i think its an ok store...

Very nice, I have those as well - they add an element of sanity to my morning and afternoon train journey. I can remove myself to another peaceful world for an hour. :)

My purchase (attached):

View attachment 303084

2012 Trek Madone 4.5 - got a great deal on it. 54cm - going for proper fitting tomorrow afternoon, checked the basic size today on a much more expensive Trek. There will be a few more purchases tomorrow I can say with certainty. I didn't end up going Specialized because I didn't really like the dealer as much as the other one I went to.

Wow! That's a beautiful bike. Mind saying how good of a deal you got? So jealous. :D

I like them quite well actually. I got them on Amazon and couldn't be happier. They sounds great and are extremely comfortable. I know some people don't like them, or say they aren't any good, but I think they are great!

Thanks! Ended up getting the Beats Tour.

I almost got those, but the 179 bucks for them was a little to much for me. Maybe on my next set of headphones. This is my first "nice" pair of headphones. I have been using the regular apple ones that came with my iPhone for ever.

Not that it's much less, but I got them off Amazon for 150 with free shipping. These are my first "nice" pair of headphones as well. I'm sure they will beat the hell out of the Apple ear buds.

Just over $2000. :) After I walked out of the LBS, I thought - oh jeez, what the hell have I got myself into here. This could be even more expensive than photography! :p Some of the potential upgrades I can do have prices that are scary, even by my standards of using some exxy photo gear.

I might join a club for some weekend cycling when I get used to it, though I probably won't be commuting to work on the bike, that's a bit too dangerous - and the motorists around this town are crazy enough even to other car drivers, let alone someone riding a bike which screams "run me over", or otherwise run me off the road or abuse the hell out of me. I don't have the confidence yet to battle the traffic right away, at least not on my own. :)

But it's a huge change from mountain bikes, especially the horrible one I borrowed for a while to get back into this sort of thing. That was really heavy and cumbersome, it had wrong gearing and hills had me just grinding away like I was trying to pedal through setting concrete. It was also too large. These really light bikes are a wild change, they just fly, amazing.

I've already got a head start by being quite fit already - now I can step things up a level again. :) It's a new challenge. I not going to be the next Cadel Evans or someone else like that, but I'll give it a go!

Can I ask why you didn't like them? It seems like people say their the best earbuds they've ever used, or they say their the worst.

In my opinion they sound horrible. I also ran into them not fitting my ears properly. I called Monster to tell them none of the ear tips that came in the box were working. They sent me a few more smaller & larger ear tips for no additional cost, and they still didn't fit comfortably.

I'm also not too fond of the color they chose. It needs to be toned down a little.

I lost a few bucks in the end, but a new Apple iPad 2 dock was worth it to me. The headphones were stored away collecting dust.

makes sense. I wish my cable provider offered the games in HD for center ice
