I'm surprised no one has gone ape **** on you! Don't rock the boat with new fancy titles man!

I was surprised at the lack backlash and :(s! ;)

Even with the thread title change, a few people still don't understand that it's a picture thread. I don't know how things could be made more clear.......:rolleyes:

9 lbs for smoking this weekend, rain or shine bitches.

You should post pics of the finished product, so I can be jealous that I don't have a smoker (yet).

It was not an apartment rule, technically. It is a city rule. The town I live in is basically afraid of their own shadows. I still love the town though, hence buying here.

I thought my town was strict, but I guess it's not so bad. My apartment complex, just likes to invent new rules and fees. What I signed in the lease, is what I will follow. No one likes the new management, more so the new property manager who is on a power trip. I was able to get to get half the property to sign a partition (I guess you would call it), saying we don't like the new property manager (Listing why) and want to see change. Sent it to the management company, and I get a peace of paper in the mail saying,"Sorry, but she is well qualified to manage **** Property." So in the end, tons of people are moving out when there lease is up. This apartment was great with the previous management company, they just did not have much money. I am glad that the apartment now has a new coat of paint, and really nice garden.

Good thing this doesn't have to be tech related.

Also, my bottle really does have a curve missing from it and a floating green droplet of acid in there.

I grill on my apartment balcony all the time, but new management and I been in a pissing contest for months now.

I got them in deep **** for walking into my apartment with out notice and no emergency. Long story short, I thought someone broke in. Ended with a gun and police. No one was injured.

Wow that is crazy. I've always had bad run in's with my property managers.

tylenol with codiene #3 for a recent surgery/procedure. Pain sucks :(

my complex does not allow grilling on our balcony's unless you use an electric grill.

That's how it was where I used to live, but then we successfully petitioned for all grills as long as the balconies were metal/concrete (like I had in my apartment). They allowed the propane but charcoal was still a no-no in apartments.

No company should ever respond to a complaint about staff with any specific detail as to whether or not they agree. It would turn into a huge legal issue for the company. But you are right, if your lease says one thing and new rules are being set without proper notice (as your lease says there must be) then I would ignore them as well. There is a safety reason behind open flame grills on balconies though. I get it, I just did not like it.

That's because we're in Raleigh and somehow it is of utter importance to them to control what we use to cook our meat. ;)
I had and still have an electric grill, though I believe it'll be sent away soon enough due to my newer charcoal grill. The first fire I set at the apartment was using said electric grill. I was making chicken wings and the grease dropped on the heating element and caught fire. I'm a disaster really.

From local Electronics shop opening, iMac 27" i5 2.7Ghz (-200€ discount). Shall order 16Gb RAM shortly.

Desided to dump few G4:s to make space (those were not even used anymore), 733 and Dual 867. The G4 Cube won't leave this apartment! :)

After weeks of contemplating about the new Toyota Prius (I've been swooning over the re-design), I finally placed a down payment and snagged up a lovely Pre-owned '10 Audi A4. Obviously the MPG isn't anywhere close to the Prius but I am pretty stoked nonetheless. :)

Thanks for the info on the Sirius. I will wait till mine expires I guess and maybe I will get that letter too! I will renew for $30. That would be $60 a year then if they kept sending it that way. :)

I use the George Forman grill quite a bit. I know they make a big outdoor one and I think thats what I am going to buy this way I don't have to go to the pool area when I want to grill something larger than what I can fit of the George Forman.

I've got a Western Digital Elements SE portable that's crapped out on me less than a year after getting it. I don't think it's the drive itself, so it's either a cable or the power source. It's a 1 TB, and it's got lots of data I don't want to lose, so I'm trying out another cable first. It's a USB 2.0 to Micro USB from Monoprice.

Thank you kindly! It is my first car purchase.

It was more of deciding between a new car or a used car. So yes, and no. With the high gas prices averaging up to about $3.90/reg in my area, I needed all the help I can get.

Buy a VW TDI instead of the Prius...
