Dang that is a crazy price. I sold the exact same machine but without AppleCare for $1850 back in March when I bought my MacBook Air, and I thought I lost a lot of money already lol.

I'm currently trying to sell my 15" MBP with i5 2.4 cpu, high-res matte screen on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $1500, and even then I thought I low-balled myself!!! Brand new, it's $2300 where I live (our prices include sales tax), but the base model now has an i7.

Lucky I got mine at a 30% discount (I don't pay income tax on laptops). Otherwise, I'd be losing real money. ;)

Aside from a bunch of PSP games, I picked up these things recently.

Tamiya Yamaha YZR M1 1/12 scale models in both Tech 3 Monster and Fiat Yamaha paint schemes and the Valentino Rossi figure to go along with his bike. Sadly I won't get to touch these until I get home from Afghanistan next year, but I will get to play with the Garmin Foretrex (mine is actually the 301 model, not the 401). I've realized that because I spend most of my time viewing our AO from the over head view of map on a computer it would be nice to track where I'm at whenever I go out on patrols and familiarize myself more.

Thanks to soulreaver99, I bought a black Mophie Juice Pack Air. I was thinking about the Plus, but the Air was only $60 on Amazon....and I had a $30 promotional credit, so it only cost me $30.:D It's funny, as soon as I bought it, it went up $1, and the red one jumped from around $60 to $79. Look what I did.:p

I also bought this totally awesome collapsable wagon to use as an alternative to our stroller. I've been tracking it on Amazon for the past couple of weeks ever since I saw someone at a mall using it with their kids. It's been listed at $150 plus shipping until today, when it dropped down to $119 with free shipping. And for some reason, the free shipping is only for today (This item normally requires a shipping charge, but is eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping today). I have Prime, so I should get it by Thursday.

And finally, I bought this harness in red to attach to the wagon so my son can't jump/fall out.

This wagon looks awesome; how old are your kids (if you don't mind me asking). I'm tired of our stroller, and a wagon option would be awesome...

I have a 15 month old son.

The couple I saw at the mall with it had a kid around my son's age, and a 2.5 year old. It worked very well for them. They told me everyone stops them and asks them about it....they were very nice about it.:p

I just wanted another option for him....he gets sick of being strapped into a stroller for long periods, even though we have a great stroller. This will give him the ability to stretch out if he wants.

Get it while it's hot.....only 10 left in stock!

EDIT. I posted this before looking at the "discussion" going on a few pages back. The only thing I plan on shooting this at is targets at the local range. (and zombies should they ever make an appearance.

You purchased it and it fits in the topic. We started to go off topic, for this thread by discussing are feelings in home defense. This forum has a specific spot for that.

Decided to give my iMac i3 a boost with a new SSD and at the same time upgrade my network so I can store/stream my media to the iMac without having to worry about capacity issues.

I have a WD that's over 6 yrs old, still works fine. I always unmount and power down when not in use 'though - usually for months at a time.

Same here, I have a 5-6 year old WD My Book 500GB and it still works but it has not been used very often. I've only used to it transfer/backup my files so I can transfer it to another computer or store it while I format a computer.

Did you purchase completely built or put it together?

That's mine below (My recent purchase). I purchased a complete upper and I customized the lower and had it sent to me. There's a QR bar code on the other side, that when scanned it says "Zombie Hunter"...

Needed one of these. I'm gonna get a receiver but then I'll have to buy new speakers and a new sub so this simple component selector will work for the time being.

Great! I just impulsed bought one of those wagons. I hope the handful of reviews that talk about the front wheels falling off and the weld on the handle snap are just lemons. So many 5 star reviews and the thing looks awesome. Hope the twins like cruising in it.

Thanks for the tip!

How's PH?

I haven't played too much of it; but from early in the game, I have a feeling I'm going to agree with most critics and fellow gamers; it's a very competent adventure romp with some clever control methods and puzzles... unfortunately, though, it doesn't quite live up to its name. Probably one of the weaker Zelda titles.

Anyhoo, a few cheap pickups! :)

Got Dirt 3 for filling out some foreign survey for AMD. Can't be a free new release!

And they sent me another freebie key for some reason! :p Worked out a deal with a member on another forum to trade it for Batman AA GOTY, which is on sale today. That way we both "win".

I highly encourage EVERYONE to support the indie developers behind the Humble Indie Bundle #3. Five fantastic games for whatever donation you feel most comfortable with. Anywhere from a penny to $100+. While you can be a cheapass, I implore anyone who takes advantage of this to pay at least the average, which hovers around $3-$4. I bought four bundles. One for $10 for myself. And three for $3.51 - the "average" donation amount at the time I purchased. This supports indie developers, charity, and DRM-free gaming.

Here's a free code for the first person who read through all of my babbling :D J3LXN-8BTR3-7MKDA It will work if you "activate a product" on Steam. Enjoy!

And finally... this isn't really a purchase. But I want to show off.

Yeah I bought a physical CD last night. Late night trip to Wally World for laundry detergent ... and this apparently.
