Another set for track day and autocross with my '88 BMW 325is:
I wanted another set with stickier tires, but am following the advice of the club that I continue with street tires and not slicks, the all weathers I have been running are just hurting my times.

I decided against the Team Dynamics wheels as these are easier to check brakes.
Hankook RS-3 but shaved 3/32" for better life/traction and no more silly flames.
Can't beat the prices of the setup :-D

Check out Star Wars Revisited, available on (ahem) teh torrentz - it's a fan edit of the Special Edition with loads of corrections/removal of bits Lucas ruined, by a guy called Adywan. Ep 4 is the only one complete ATM but he's well on with Ep 5.

Damn, I'm jealous. I just saw a set of 17x8 BBS RK for $500, and a set of Z1 Star Specs for $500 as well. WANT. Just can't drop $1k without a job.

^^^I should go x8.... I just don't want to roll the fenders yet and figure out spacing without also having coilovers. The more I look at my car, I REALLY want to drop it another 1.5 inches for the events, but it's so very nice not to be bottoming out or losing my IS lip...
And yes. Good luck in the job dept. When work is slow for me (as I am self-employed) I pick up odds and ends, as ANY money rolling in is better for your account...and the soul.

We'll find out in the next few weeks if Apple makes an official announcement. We can return it and use an old 3G I have laying around if we have to until it comes out.
How are the mirror-less cameras? How is the choice of lenses? Got a good spectrum of lenses to use?

You're going to love that system. I have A40's myself and can't bring myself to play without them anymore.
The official Sony lineup is restricted, but it works perfectly with Nikon/Canon lenses if you use an adapter.
I wouldn't say perfectly. These adapters are strictly mechanical. Which means that they can't autofocus, image stabilization doesn't work, and changing the aperture on a Canon EF lens is impossible.
