New point&shoot camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V) replacing a Kodak v530 from 2005, and a 16GB memory card. First photo taken with it will be dinner tonight, just need to charge the battery and cook the dinner. :)

Yeah I've been reading some reviews on amazon and it seems video recording as that weird clicking noise. I really don't want to shell out $600+ for a camera that I'll need to warranty within the first few days of use.

Yeah that was my concern too, but then reading on some photography forums people in the last month or two have been saying no problems with ones they've brought so I was hoping Sony had caught up with the problem. Seems not in my case, but still thrilled to bits with it!

TBH, if I didn't know about the click to start with I probably wouldn't have noticed it :)

Insanely jealous! I'm hoping to get one later this year.

omg i think i just wet myself. so awesome.

It is really good. After I saw the first reviews I demo'd one in the store for about 10 minutes but I knew pretty much immediately that it I had to get it.

Okay I give up, what is this insanely cool looking piece of tech?:eek:

Wacom Cintiq 24HD. In short it's a 24" display that is also a drawing tablet. It sits on a heavy base and can be lowered to sit like a drafting table or raised upright like a traditional LCD display. I bought it to primarily use for photo editing but where it really shines is for drawing and sculpting. I have never been a very good artist but have always wanted to improve. My biggest problem is I have trouble freehand drawing on paper because my hands have a bit of a tremble and I have trouble with symmetry. I've tried drawing with a mouse and cannot do it. I've even tried drawing with a traditional tablet and have trouble because I can't relate the actions of my hand to what I see on screen. Now that I draw directly on the screen it's changed everything. The stylus has a very large range of pressure sensitivity so light/heavy strokes work like they do on paper. It also lets you simulate brush angle in Photoshop.

Right now I am learning how to digitally sculpt in ZBrush. It's an expensive toy but it has practical uses for my photography work, it makes masking and whatnot much easier in both Lightroom and Photoshop.

Wacom Cintiq.

The Production Suite where I work has them, and every time I go up there they are updating their statuses on Facebook

That's a waste but I have to admit I've spent more than a couple of hours playing Skyrim on mine. :)

I've been looking at these for a while, at least a couple of years. Nothing like someone vacuuming for you while you're out or sleeping. Especially since my daughter thinks everything she can find on the floor (and she finds things smaller than a grain of rice) is food. I was wondering if these will go over the area carpet on the hardwood floor, and back on the wood and tile floors without moving it yourself.

Bought that little guy to help me out.

Why? Because i'm lazy!

I called him Timmy.

Italy, I think it's an exclusive bundle for Europe.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the info.

I love white colored electronic gadgets & I would love to get myself a white Nintendo 3DS without having to import it. Unfortunately, Nintendo still do not release a white 3DS for the US market. :(
