I forgot this- should keep me online for the winter and beyond.

Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition for the Xbox 360 :D
Amazon and GameStop are no longer taking pre-orders; luckily Best Buy still is. I just hope they don't cancel my order, I've heard they've been known to oversell pre-orders.

Decided to see what the WP7 fuss is about. Traded in my Nexus S for an Omnia W (Focus Flash).

Temporarily using the PC version of the Logitech K750 keyboard because I can't find the Apple version in retail stores. So far the keyboard has been very impressive and I'm definitely ordering the Apple one. Much better than the bluetooth Apple Wireless Keyboard!

I hadn't realized Amazon stopped their pre orders of the collector's edition. I had tried to order mine from Gamestop, but they cut off orders the day Bio Ware finally announced the bonuses. Pretty crappy I thought, but that day I pre ordered mine from Amazon. They say I've already purchased this item when I look on the site, so hoping I get mine day of.

Until then, I just pre ordered this...

I played the demo for the extra armor for ME3, and actually thought it was pretty deep. This should hold me over till ME3, while I take a break from MW3.

Well, there are actually 6 neon tetras in this picture but you can only see the ghost shrimp. (Those being the purchase)

There were 7 tetras but one had tetra disease and didn't make it. I'm hoping none of the others come down with that :(

You should think about going for live plants! It's a lot of work, but it's very rewarding. The fish are happier, the water is cleaner, and the whole thing just looks a lot nicer. I upgraded my 2.5 to a 5.5 gallon the past weekend and I'm almost done setting it up. I just need to get my replacement CO2 diffuser because the one I got yesterday broke while in transit. Damn USPS. The chopstick diffuser on the bottom left is a placeholder. ;)

Thanks for the tip! I will try implementing live plants.

Sadly shortly after I took that picture all of my fish died, although my shrimp is still around.

I took my water to the pet store to be tested and their results were way different then mine. Turns out the test strips I bought were bad (somehow they were already exposed to water) and they were giving false readings (making everything look perfect, when in reality they weren't.)

Even though its been about 10 years since I had fish, I knew something sounded strange when I read the aquarium instructions and it said only wait 24 hours before adding fish. I remember waiting like 2 weeks before. Luckily the guy at the pet store was pretty knowledgable when I brought my water in and offered all kinds of advice and sold me this product (a really stinky (literally) product) to help cycle my tank and said if it doesn't work, even if I use the whole bottle bring it back for a refund.

If you are really interested here is the article you need to read in order to get a tank ready for fish. You probably killed the fish with ammonia because the tank had not completely cylced. Anyways, give this a read and hopefully your next fishes will be much happier!!
