Yes! Please for the love of god do not just take the TV out of the box and use the factory settings :D One of my technology pet peeves I guess.

Already have read the thread and jotted down a couple settings to see which ones I like better, thanks though. Now need a blu ray player. Moving up to 1080p from 720p is going to be expensive, but so much nicer than owning a tube tv.

Any details on the deal? Something we can all try to grab?

fry's have the tv for $1099.

yeah frys has it for 1099, but I moved from the West Coast, so no Frys. Sears has it for 1399, plus 5% off, then 5% off if you put it on their credit card, with no tax in Delaware. Also you get the free 3D glasses/Narnia kit. Almost bought a EX62X series from Costco for 1199, so to me this is a great price. Also put it on the Amex, so double the warranty.

Total was around 1200 after all discounts. Guy said he would sell me a couple more of the Narnia 3D kits for 39.99, so I am going to pick up 2-3 more for the headsets.

Miss having a Frys, but moving to the East Coast I picked up a Microcenter. Even trade I guess. Next move will be a place with both a Microcenter and a Frys, best of both worlds.

Picked up a white 4S. My first iPhone in white and I have to say.. damn this thing is god looking. Glad I went with white.

and to protect it:

Pinlo Slice 3 in clear. I don't drop my phones (knock on wood) so scratch protection is all I need.

edit: tIMG doesn't seem to want to shrink the phone picture down..

The last elements of the Shrink Espresso Center are now in place. The spoon type thing is a coffee scoop. The square thingy is a spoon rest, upon which the scoop will rest, thus keeping coffee grounds off the counter. The Friis canister is for storing beans or ground coffee. It has a one way filter in the top which allows canon dioxide (which negative effects the labor of the coffee) out, but does not allow air in.

And finally, The Shrink Espresso Center.:D:D

I bought some stuff from the Farmer's Market yesterday. Both are very good. I really love great honey.

I liked the PC version so much that I went and ordered the Mac version of the Logitech K750 solar keyboard. This thing is much better than the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard because it's much more responsive. It also compliments the Thunderbolt Display pretty well because I can plug any Mac and still use the keyboard without having to pair with bluetooth!

Wrote a review here: http://www.thegeeksoffice.com/?p=587

I was thinking of picking one up to replace the Apple Wireless keyboard I'm using right now. I'm growing tired of the small size and how the key strokes feel while typing. I feel I can type much faster on my Logitech Slim keyboard on my Windows machine compared to the Apple Wireless.

Are they keystroke different from Apple's keyboard?

Keystrokes feel similar but there are stands at the bottom to angle the keyboard for better support. I actually type better on the logitech keyboard.

Coffee freaks are a strange, demented little community.:p

That apparently can't follow simple instructions.

Have you even made a cup with that machine yet? Not a very promising one from my experience. That steam wand is just awful too..
