A total and utterly not needed purchase.

Ok, ok. I saw this MacBook on the web for 100 euro's. It was within a range of 600 metres. So, what do you do? Purchase!:apple:

Turns out: MacBook 1,1 1.83 Core Duo w/ 2GB RAM.
I had an Vertex 3 60GB SSD lying around and figured I'd use that one.

Now, I have a MacBook 2006 with Vertex 3 SSD running pretty damn fast. It looks pretty good as well!

Total cost of this spontanious purchase: €100,- (purchase date 27/2/12,so not the last purchase)

My Shun arrived.

I did a little paper test of this, my cheap Wolfgang Puck knife, and my roommate's Henckels Classic Santoku.

The Puck could barely put a knick in the paper, the Henckels cut, but not with great ease, and the Shun glided through it like air.

Really loving not only the sharpness and style, but the balance and ergonomics are top notch.

I still don't get why it sold out in 3 minutes or why it's $120 on eBay? It's a plain t-shirt with a picture of a supermodel on it. Am I missing something?

Of course you are missing something! you are missing a shirt with a model on it!

Of course you could spend 120$... But then you'd miss those...

You are 100% correct. It's a prime example of someone having more money than you know what to do with.

He he, Globals are certainly awesome, too, but that damascus steel IS sexy. ;)

I saw how knives like this are made on TV. Awesome craftsmanship, too bad they cost a metric ton of Yen/Euro/USD.

For professional use?

Dale

Professional hobby more like it. I do a lot of cooking, but it's for home use.

I'll take 8".

RAWR!

It's Kate Moss (famous model incase you don't know). Supreme does shirts every now and then with pop culture icons on them (rappers/artists/models/etc)

already going for over $120 on ebay

i dont get it...whats all the hoopla?

Because it is a Supreme shirt, thats the only reason. Supreme is highly coveted in the street wear world, they release very limited numbers of their products so everything sells out very fast, forcing people to buy second hand for a drastic mark up.
