I wish there was a 1.4 prime or something a little bit more sophisticated.

That's a rare item you got there....I've heard of them...Used to be a TEAC guy back in the day, and yep had an 8 track in the car...What make is your newbie?

This one is an Akai X-1800SD. Not very high-end, I don't think, but it should be a nice entry point, I hope!

It's replacing a BlackBerry, which is my secondary phone (my primary device is of course an iPhone). Thought I'd try something different :)

That's cool...I think HTC makes great devices. The keyboard to screen ratio is comparable to most BB's anyway.

Here's something I noticed today when I was putting away the shipping box.....
It looks like UPS was using the box as a stepping stool. >_<

Spent some birthday money.

Behold, my first real kitchen knife. A Shun Ken Onion 8" Chef's Knife.

Believe it or not, I only have rather crappy knives. A set of three knives with block and cutting board, made in China, that cost $20. Needless to say, I'm very excited!!! Did a lot of research first.

There was a thread not long ago about something similar where people implied that I was lying when I said I know people who worked at both FedEx and UPS and the boxes get tossed around, kicked, broke open, etc.

Basically my friends told me "fragile does not mean fragile to most UPS workers, it means kick it harder".

Here's my latest purchase:

Gotta love ZBrush. This purchase was free* :)

*Its not hacked, ZBrush has been giving free updates to anyone who buys their software since release. I bought my license 2 years ago and a new release was just made.
