after I moved to Cali for a bit, I never rode in anything less than my jeans and armored jacket and helmet around town and I'd upgrade to my riding boots for highway use. After falling once with my jacket on and seeing how the armored elbow took the abuse, I won't go anywhere without it.

I wear a leather jacket, street cuff gloves, Alpinestars back protector, and boots every time I ride (every day, use it as main transportation) - no matter if it is 110*+ out. Longer rides, over 200mi, get textile pants and canyon runs are just done in my track gear.

Kinda looking to find a chest protector, so far impact armor is leading the 'wish list' but I might just end up with a one item chest/back/rib protector. Not Icon Field Armor.

Pamani: I hate you

Kurfer: I hate you even more, but more because of the space in your garage dedicated to just your bikes. I'm afraid I shall never have that much room in my own garage for my bike.

RedReplicant: I used to have a pair of riding jeans with kevlar reinforced areas. They were the **** and looked fine even after I was off the bike and just walking around. But some how I lost them after moving to a new place for a months before I moved back to Oklahoma from California.
I have some alpinestars gloves that go up to my wrist, but I really want some full cuff gloves, mostly for chilly evenings, keeping the wind out of my jacket.

That is an amazing set up.

Now this is a worthwhile thread. :D

Here we go, my K6 Gixxer Thou. Yes I know the pillion seat looks goofy, but I would rather save for race glass than buy a pillion seat cowling. Also yes the rear fender looks goofy - but I already got one ticket from using a fender eliminator so I'm not pushing my luck. Especially not as I already have that hella loud M4 GP exhaust...

Tape on the top of the tank is so the tank bag does't scratch. The extra wire you see on the left hand side is for the Bazzaz quickshift. So much better after installing the Bazzaz and a good dyno tune.

And what good is a litrebike if you don't have a race track to ride it on? :D

A bit late to the party...

I still love my old TL-S. It is not nearly as fast as my buddy's Duc 1198 Corse but it is still a blast to ride. I would have to say the feel and sound of a 90 degree big twin is what does it for me. Although my road racing days are long gone I had the opportunity to take my TL on Road America a couple of occasions for riding classes (yeah, just more track time).
:D

Always good to see other TLs riders! What kind of pipes do you have on yours?

About time this thread was resurrected.

My new Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. Bought today and collect next Thursday.

Apologies for the rubbish phone pics:

My 1994 Honda CBR400RR, Japanese import, 99% original, amazing condition for the age, low mileage, a whole heap of fun! Had a few good offers since she is getting rare but I think I'll wait until next summer for an upgrade, probably a CBR600RR.

The Blade in the background is my Dad's, in case you were wondering.

My 2000 Dyna Wide Glide. Built from the ground up. Bought a crashed bike for the motor and trans and gave it hell from there. I finally have it exactly the way I want it.
