I'd really love use a launcher on my Nexus 4, but a dealbreaker is the fact that widgets aren't centered like I want them to. Let me show you an example.

This is what my calender widget look like without launcher (the way I want it to)

When downloading a launcher, the widget wont stay in the same position, it's either

or

Is there a way to change this?

If you are using a custom launcher like Nova launcher , you can try to change the number of rows and columns to help you center it.

This or also allowing overlapping of widgets. If you play around, you can get it right.

I think that was on the football team, right? I heard about it, but I'm not too much of a football fan, just a huge Tennessee Volunteer football fan. Make sense? I didn't think so, but I am strange that way.

So you're a UT football fan but a UNC basketball fan? That is a bit odd, but to each his own. :D

And no, the academic stuff extends to the basketball team as well. It's just that the NCAA is scared to death to do anything to either Duke or Carolina. You won't see any infractions come out of it.

Does anyone not root, hack or mod their android? Seems like that's all anyone still does.

A lot of the home screens in this thread aren't rooted -but with a new launcher, custom icon pack and a few other mods here and there, a lot of people will think you are rooted just because of how different it'll look to an out of the box handset.

I've got no reason or time to root and install custom ROMs on my Xperia Z - I don't even care whether it gets the next Android version - if I still have the phone in 6 months I might look into it then.

It came unlocked and unbranded which is good enough for me, and data is dirt cheap over here. I spend £5 a month for unlimited data and download full HD movies. I used 87gb between June 1st and 24th.

Only regrets with the Z is the poor screen quality.

I have to root. This phone is pure trash without doing so. Huawei doesn't skin the stock ROM, but it has less than desired CPU settings so the phone lags BIG TIME because it always works at 300MHz and has to preload EVERYTHING.

So now my current min is 1113 MHz and the max is 1132 MHz. Recently set up Link2SD which links your internal apps to the SD card, the thing flies. No lag whatsoever. Can play everything that actually works on a 3.5" screen too. Was actually playing Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 actually. Made me laugh so much because so many people using better phones can't even get it to boot.

Running CM10.1 too, awesome.

I don't. I keep my Nexus 4 stock and couldn't be happier. I have a handful of tweaks and widgets but that's it.
