So I've somehow ended up with a Droid 2 since someone at my dad's work upgraded and just gave it to whoever wanted it. So I rooted it, flashed ICS, and bam. We don't use Verizon, but my dad knew that I would love it anyway, hahaha.

They never actually used the physical keyboard, so it's mint. :D

Using the new Samsung Galaxy S5 wallpaper, Yoma icon pack, HD Widgets with Colourform, and Apex Launcher with the Tablet UI.

Plays my Humble Bundle stuff very nicely so far. MotoBlur was very nice for the five minutes I used it. Totally didn't feel like Gingerbread very much.

Where do you get the S5 wallpaper from Jess?

A friend of mine has been using a Droid 2 since it came out and he still loves it. It's a work provided phone and the company is moving to iPhones soon but he doesn't want to give it up.

just curious, which ROM are you using or is your S4 a Google Edition?

Its not a Google edition s4 but has exact same hardware as the gpe version so the gpe Roms all work as if the device shipped with them.

I am using this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537495

I am using the late January build and this ROM has been updated by Dev so many times since but I never cared to flash those. This should be enough to tell anyone how stable and good this is.

My GS4 Google Play Edition.

How is it on heat? When I had mine it would heat up to levels that would actually hurt to hold up to my ear during phone calls. It's the only reason I gave it up after researching and not coming up with a fix.

That sounds very strange. I've had phones heat up on me before, most commonly if I was using it with low cell signal or gaming for a period of time. But those are the only causes I can recall and it they've never gotten hot enough that it was too uncomfortable to hold.

I agree it was very strange. If you google it you'll find it was a common issue. I would really like to pick up an S4 when the 5 drops.

I did notice it getting warm but no more so than the normal s4.

Auto screen brightness is much brighter than Samsung's own auto brightness however.
