Just switched from Sense 6 to ParanoidAndroid on my HTC One. Sense 6 was great but stock Android is the best in my opinion. Can't beat it.

The Google launcher can stand some updates IMO. I dont care for it the way it is now. Icons are too big , not able to have more than 4 apps on the dock...to name a couple things.

The skin (or lack of) runs deeper than the launcher.

I dont think stock is the best, hell it wont even let you remove the home screens, change the amount of icons on the dock, dock pages and numerous other small things. Nova is a must for sure for me.


I like my android simple and no clutter, one home screen and one page on the dock

Good question haha. Stock in terms of ROM / no OEM skin. I also agree with the others regarding the Google Now Launcher, it needs many improvements in my opinion.

My biggest gripes with stock android.

Would it kill Google to implement folders for app drawer and user configurable arrangement.

Likewise it kills me that on a nexus / Google play edition device with stock android there isn't a way to change lock screen wallpaper differently to home screen wallpaper.

Two very simple things that would make a huge difference and things iOS has had for years.

Looks good. I hate how all the google icons still have gloss, bevel and horrible ragged edges especially on chrome.
