Boring and conservative. Goes with my new Moto X Pure, Cognac Leather and Champagne highlights.

New to android (Droid Turbo 2), and it only took me almost a week to find a background and icon set that I liked.

How are you liking the new Droid Turbo 2 and android in general? Were you a previous iPhone user? I'm considering a switch to android as well.

I really like it. The phone is super quick and the camera is great (although to be honest, I haven't used it a whole lot yet). I also like that the Turbo 2 has a SD card slot for more storage. The only smart phone ive ever had were iPhones. Ive had one since they came to Verizon, and have been due to upgrade my 5 for some time now (any phone would have been an upgrade..but I was curious about android). It was a very easy transition for me, but the iPhone is the only Apple product I own so im not too tied into the ecosystem. There were a couple things that maybe a day or 2 to get used to, but now that ive had the phone for a week I can tell that I will not be switching back to the iPhone anytime soon.

Try to get in on the Samsung Test Drive if you can. My main motivation for getting one of the test phones was to test out Android. Used it for maybe 2 weeks before jumping in feet first and buying the new Droid.

Don't be so harsh on yourself
That's funny. I forgot sometimes "simple" is considered and insult. Nah, I just don't like to stir the pot. Widgets are just something you scroll through that drain battery. After a month or so, I might start using widgets.

Thanks, I forgot about the test drive. I'm also coming from an iPhone 5. Been doing a lot of research and the 2 phones I have it narrowed down to are the Moto X pure edition or Droid Turbo 2. Going with the Moto X will more easily allow me to test out new carriers. I have zero problems with Verizon except the price is a tad high.

Were you able to get a bill credit for upgrading to the Droid Turbo 2? Does the bloatware bother you or can that stuff be disabled and hidden?

I kept my iPhone since my car doesn't play nice with anything else for music..so I went out and bought a cheap prepaid smart phone and used that. Never even activated it but as long as it turns on they give you the credit (im not sure how long this promotion is going to go on for). I had the $200 go towards the cost of the phone vs an account credit.

A lot of the Verizon stuff can be disabled. I don't use most of it and haven't disabled any of it either, but it doesn't bother me that's it on there.
