Trying to get used to Material You and ditched my normal Nova Launcher. Want to start off Pixel 6 ownership (next week hopefully) with bare bones Android as much as I can.

Pixel 3 running Android 12.

I like the stock Pixel launcher but am not a fan of the themed icons as it doesn't change third party apps. It just looks off with the mix of themed and unthemed apps.

Doesn't it bother you?

It does, but I guess it is possible to modify icons or download alt icons for some of my applications. I wish there was a native on-device system to match whatever icon you have to your theme. But oh well.

I’m curious where are the Pixel HomeScreens at?

I rarely use my phone for anything other than work so I just throw the thing in my bookshelf when I get home. My homescreen has pretty much looked like this for the past 4 years, other than the wallpaper changing occasionally.
Looks good and most importantly, it’s functional.

I'm old fashioned but this is my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE doing an excellent impression of Android 2.3, Gingerbread

Every installed app that I've placed on it is from 2009-2012 mostly, as I have every APK of every Android app I ever used backed up onto an NAS. I don't depend on many modern apps. Original Angry Birds, Original Aldiko, Original versions of UC Browser and Dolphin Mini. This phone has excellent backward compatibility and scales properly. Most modern phones blur out or get some weird aspect ratio failure. Good part is I can run ten or so apps before going halfway on RAM usage.

The theme for the icons is a Samsung theme, called 'Photoreal Icon Pack' on the Galaxy Store.
