My new look for One UI 7... plan to keep this setup going forward (minus changing icons/wallpapers). Not really a fan of the new battery widget, actually prefers One UI 6 widget.

I am very basic as I don't really use widgets. I personally never saw the point in them as I don't spent much time looking at the home screen

Looks really nice. Do you have a link to the wallpaper?

(Does the lack of homogeneity in Android widgets not bother others? The only Android UX I ever got on with was NothingOS because what you could create had such a lovely order to it)

I used generative fill to match the wallpaper to the Galaxy Fold... so credit goes to the link below. I could share the wallpaper that was created if you want... along with editing to your phone resolution.

Well, I could easily did Samsung only widgets to have cohesion among the setup, but didn't care to have a large calendar. And with the two Samsung widgets (Device Care & Battery Widget), this setup matches it well enough... I like the 7-day-week and random motivational quotes widget.

Wallpapers change day
Once I turned off the percentage on the status bar battery... I'm realizing that it doesn't match it aesthetically with the rest of the symbols. Particularly.... the cellular, wifi and bluetooth icons. Samsung should of changed the rest of the icons.

Maybe, signal dots/circle for cellular like below.

And for wifi... it should be slightly larger.

Yup I see what you see , I see we got Good Lock update today but nothing but clean up

Niagara Launcher
I’m thought about using Niagara Launcher for my cover (outer) screen on my Galaxy Fold and stock launcher for inner screen, but there’s a delay when switching… so opted against it.

I kind of wish it was more seamless, but maybe One UI 7 fixes it… haven’t checked.

I use my icons launcher is solid just wish they had expanded grid sizes
I'm curious... what functionality do you gain (or lose) using the default launcher over 3rd party launcher?

As you know with the Galaxy Fold, if we change launchers... we lose the ability to use taskbar and some of the Good Lock modules perks.

The first thing I did was load Nova launcher but unfortunately unlike my Google Pixel this phone was showing a draw when swiping back to the home screen so I scrapped Nova launcher. 1 + did a nice job with all the gestures and the settings with customization. You side load a theme store for fonts and themes plus It has a side edge like Samsung which will work with a 3rd party launcher. So far my only complaints for the stock launcher is the grid size and I believe I can't make folders in my apps drawer

Since you mention the Theme Store, I decided to go into the Galaxy Themes and see what I can find... been awhile since I applied a theme. But I like their side edge... especially that Recent File feature.

Yeah, I have my grid size set to the maximum... I believe. And that’s a shame they don’t allow folders in the app drawer, seems basic to me.

Yes I can't remember the last time I applied the Galaxy theme maybe now inspired to find one haha

Definitely no sense I could not find a setting for the folders in drawer smh
