Theres a handy tool when you open photoshop, it's called colour range. It's not in the toolbar though, it's in the menu bar. So pretty much all you have to do is go to select, click on colour range, and if there is 1 dominant colour that you wish to have only showing, hold down shift, and click and move your mouse around the area in which you want to have only showing the colour, be sure to hold down shift.

Now if you're using cs3, you may notice some other parts on the image turn white on the example, they can be eliminated with a marquee tool whilst holding down alt. But on cs4, there is a new feature called range, click on the tick box under where it says Select:Sampled Colours.

Then the range slider will open, this basically recognizes where your mouse was hovering and singles out the pixels only to where you were.

Okay so if your happy with the result you've made close colour range, click on a marquee tool and right click your colour selection. Then you have to click 'select inverse' once you have the inverse selected, go to 'Hue/Saturation' In either the layers toolbox on the side of PS, you can find Hue/Sat by clicking on a circle with one half black and one half white, now all you have to do is put saturation all the way down.

Sorry it was long, but tried to make it so even newbies could understand :p

Ichihara Hayato (市原隼人) is a SWEETY! He's now going for the whole bad-boy image though, and let me be the first to say that Japanese rap is... Unconventional at best ^^

Back to the west with
the effulgent River Phoenix. Don't ask why, just because.

GASP! *offended*
Well, apparently we're not so good at identifying people of different race to ourselves, especially if we're not normally around them. I cope with Asians though...

Ichihara juxtaposed confusingly (?) with a WOMAN:

If weren't for the shaved beard and the hair I would say they are twin. Using a earring and a thin eyebrown don't help him so much!
