It doesn't scratch easily, but then again I don't put my phone with my keys so I'm not 100% sure. The case does have four very small bumps at each of the 4 corners to prevent the clear back from contacting a surface directly though.

im almost certain the the ip6 will be in gold, maybe even a deeper gold color.
Exactly what I was thinking. A picture of a new phone is pointless. Just google it or go to the apple website

Proof I'm not the only one who thinks the gold looks silver in the picture.
It does look silver at a quick glance. I think the real gold mirrored Xbox controller is making the iPhone look lighter than it is.
And the gold one does looks silver at certain angles.

I'm going to get the RED iPad case so I just wanted to see how it would weather. It doesn't look too bad in your pics. I know some of the other colors can get pretty bad after a week. I don't mind if it turns a dark red as long as it doesn't look disgusting. I might get a RED iPhone case if I end up loving the iPad case. Thanks again!

Not a problem! Are you going to get a leather iPad case? If not the wear won't be as bad on the polyurethane and stay brighter longer.
