This may take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to receive. That is, IF, I receive it at all.

Buying this in to replace my mid-2014 rMBP. Looking forward to it! The rMBP was my first MacBook and it sold me on them forever. Such a solid machine. I'm not a power user or anything like that, so the new MBA should be great for a good few years for me.

I'll be WFH for the foreseeable future thanks to this Corona thing, badly needed a dual monitor setup. Decided to bite on this Samsung ultrawide 43' curved instead to run out of my 2015 MBP. Good for multi tasking which is what I need. Not a gamer so don't need those specs but makes for a decent game monitor as well.

Just a regular pantry re-up in the springtime, so no rush for it, and a good thing too since it won't be in stock until mid-April, but on the website I also noticed it said "order now" if wanting it at that time, so I did put in my order. It is for a case of shelf-stable tofu that I use regularly if and when I run out of fresh. I live in a rural area so I'm no more likely to go shopping just for one package of tofu than for a quart of milk, which is why I also keep nonfat dry milk in my pantry.

Ordered the Steelcase Gesture with Headrest (in Nickel) over a month ago. Sadly, due to COVID-19 the build and ship time has been delayed, but it should be delivered today!

I have a steel case chair and believe me you will love it. It’s the only chair I’ve ever had that I could sit in for hours and not hurt my butt. I am a heavy guy and have had it About a year and the cushion is still like new. The only thing I don’t like about the chair is its unusually heavy. Not a huge deal because its on wheels just if you ever want to move it would suck.

That's awesome. I was trying to choose between the Steelcase Leap V2 and the Gesture, and from what I've read it was more a matter of looks or functionality since most of their models are just solid all around. Even more excited about getting that delivery now! Thanks man.

Is it comfy?
Yes, my god man. Was so worth it. Not sure why I never invested deeply into a chair before this. It's not only comfy, but extremely adjustable. The arms are especially versatile. I can change positions to meet my needs when I'm working on the mouse and keyboard or working on the Cintiq, and it's effortless to find the right settings. Amazing chair. Highly, highly recommend it to anyone.

I’ll be in the market for a new chair soon. Just have a few more essential purchases first. Do you have a link?

The Leap V2 is also highly recommended. I built mine with the nickel fabric color. The leather options are also pretty stellar but I was already getting gun shy at the $1200 mark and passed on the leather.

Nice. Is your cintiq running off the laptop and egpu?

So there’s a few different methods for running it. In my particular setup I’m using the Caldigit TS3 Plus for most of my peripherals and external drives and I actually use the TB3 out on that to drive the Cintiq. I played around quite a bit with benchmarking because the eGPU can be a little inconsistent. I found that was the best arrangement with the most consistent and best performance. So MacBook Pro out to Caldigit Hub, hub to Cintiq; than MacBook Pro out to the Core X Chroma and from there to the 34” with HDMI. Runs the display beautifully at 100hz and the Cintiq performs smoothly without any lag and great brush performance. If I were doing 3D work I might’ve reconsidered that setup since I think the Cintiq would probably benefit from the additional performance of the Radeon VII.

From Russia, with love.

It arrived today and only after 2 months of travel time. It did say it could take up to 6 months to arrive and considering all that is going on, I'm impressed that it came this soon.

This is a somewhat rare album by Tool from 1994 with a bunch of live performances and I couldn't find it anywhere. Then finally it turned up in Russia of all places. When I placed the order, I went into the deal giving myself a 50/50 chance of ever receiving it. Either I'd be taken for my money by a Russian, the Russian or American authorities would seize it at Customs for any reason at all, or it would just plain get lost somewhere.

But, it made it and intact too. The disc and labels were in pristine, unscratched condition.

That is beautiful man. My favorite band of all time. Saw them in 92 just heading into high school and was hooked. They inspired me to pick up a guitar and I had an amazing career because of that decision. To this day they still inform my art, design, music and writing. I can’t wait for the next album, hopefully sooner rather than later. Amazing find bro. Truly.
