After my first set of 1st gen. AirPods had battery issues and I lost one "Pod" of the second set of AirPods with Wirless charging case it is now time for the AirPods Pro with a nice case...
Don’t see the point of redacting the actual price when it’s googlable. However tax should give pple an approx to location and total price will allow someone to figure out what the tax price is.
Just a little humorous jab from one gratuitous spender to another. This entire thread is a flex, let’s be honest. I mean, one of my own posts was a nearly $1500 chair. And I got exactly why you censored the tax. That was my first thought as well. I actually thought, smart guy, hide the tax and don’t dox yourself.

was the $1500 more for ergonomics or just kind of an eames design? I got my dad the x chair for his back and am considering one for myself now that I’m working from home more.
Little bit of both. I went with the Steelcase Gesture with Headrest, with a custom color/fabric option. Was both for the ergonomics, as well as the design, which I prefer over some of the other popular options like the Aeron, Embody, etc. It's the best chair I've ever owned, and a stunning looker.
I've been remote for close to a decade or so, which means I've been through quite a few chairs, and I can say this one is unequivocally the winner for comfort and features. Just the arms alone made it worthwhile; very simple concept, but the arms are highly adjustable, so if I'm writing code I can put them in an optimal position for typing, and if I'm designing/illustrating on my Cintiq, I can set one arm to a specific height and angle, while the other can be moved out of the way entirely to give me more freedom. Just a great piece of equipment overall. Well worth the investment.
Going to use the Apple Wallet without attaching it to an iPhone. (not compatible with 11 Pro Max) Makes sense since Apple barely releases a wallet product.
And I don't have a gym pass so I'm using a barbell with weight plates. Better get your exercise.
I don't want to date myself too much here, but I grew up on vinyl. I have been broadcasting in community radio for 30 years, playing mostly vinyl. Lately I've been ripping some of the better albums to digital (nobody goes into the station these days), but after listening critically to the results I concluded it was time to get new equipment. So I go looking, only to discover that the Technics SL-Q2 turntable I used to own (stolen in a Christmas burglary back in the 80's) is kind of the sweet spot for vintage turntables and impossible to find locally or in good condition on eBay. Dang!
And guess what? Now everybody and their Uncle Jack is back into vinyl! All you can buy is really crappy low-end tables with USB output(!) or insanely expensive turntables lovingly crafted out of unicorn horns and unobtainium. So I am really excited that I found this affordable turntable that promises decent sound, a collaboration between drop.com and Audio-Technica. It's called a Drop+ Audio-Technica Carbon VTA turntable, see photo. And, unlike the AT-LP40WN that it's based on, it ships in about a week!
And guess what? Now everybody and their Uncle Jack is back into vinyl! Think I might be waiting a while though. Sketchers have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Phone number states due to covid they are all working from home and can't answer the phone. They haven't answered my last three emails. I hate companies like that. I'd cancel my order if I could contact them!
Adding little by little as it takes off my arm and leg in the process with these prices.
Been eyeing a Galaxy tab just to complete my Samsung set up. Love using my iPad Pro 10.5 but the screen white spot left me a sour taste with Apple. If Samsung gives me the $300 then why not. Still got my 2019 i9 iMac to keep me in the Apple world. Plus I love the color blue which is why I almost bought the blue iPad Air but the mystic blue tab s7+ looks great.
