No, a Mac is not needed; I'm able to email them to myself and then add them to iPhoto. It's pretty quick and painless. Take a screenshot first...
Tried to keep it as simple as possible....don't know if I succeeded...
3 main categories + phone, sidebar icons link to corresponding apps (clock=clock, weather widget=Fizz Weather,Notes=Notes, slideshow=photos, Calendar=Calendar), headphones link to ipod. Docked icons = start menu, SMS, Safari and Mail.

Nice jkimbro, simple and not overdone in my opinion, that's the way I like my lockscreen and homescreen...
You just take a screenshot by pressing the home button and sleep/wake button together at the same time.
I then upload it right from my phone using the photobucket app. Works perfect for me.

Thanks man, it's my custom made theme...I haven't made it available so you won't find it anywhere.
I changed up the weather icons and added a new theme set of icons. Let me know what you think.
How did you put the smiley up there? I like that...
Does it take ages to produce something like that? Is there a rough guide you use?
i just changed all the icons to my liking and tweaked it up my way

Perfect. I will be doing something similar to this very soon - nice and clean, and will use QuickGold (or whatever the hell that Quicksilver app for the iPhone is called) to access everything else that isn't shown.
You use Winterboard? I need to look into how to create a custom theme without Winterboard, as Winterboard slows down the phone a bit.
What theme is that? It's really nice.
Can you tell us exactly what you are using?
I like that it can look good in dark or light backgrounds.

Your theme is about as custom made as copy and pasting icons already created by someone else, into a folder.
They are collections of icons from a lot of places your right. Like I said, it's nothing special and I like the simpleness of it. Seems like others do as well. So whats the reason you called me out? Got nothing better to do?
How did you get the "dock" (the portion that separates the dock from the rest of the springboard)? Is it an image you built in to your background image?
