Can I use my own images instead of yours?
Yea, you can use any image you want, just make sure it is a png
Can I use my own images instead of yours?
iNav I assume?? Which theme?
And to the poster above with the reward message on the lockscreen: How did you do that? I keep my phone locked all the time so that would be good for me.

I love that slide to unlock. What theme is it?
lostprophet, i believe he's using the Lock Calendar mod/app, and the 'reward' line is just embedded w/ html (if not an optional line that can be customized, provided as a Lock Calendar feature. For example, if you use 2Bar/3Bar/MultiBar lock theme, there's a line within LockBackground.html that allows you to put whatever text you want through an html table. You just have to find the right height/px to your liking.
It's simple - it just involves editing the lockbackground.html file. However, unless you use rotating wallpapers, or do something else with your lockscreen that involves HTML code, you don't have a lockbackground.html file. Instead you just have a lockbackground.jpg file. Check the folder of whatever theme you are using for your lockscreen to see what you've got.
Your themes are located at:
/private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx (the xxxxx is a bunch of random letters and numbers that will vary from phone to phone).
If you don't have a lockbackground.html file, then just navigate to the theme you use, find the lockbackground.jpg file, and edit it with the photo editor of your choice to add whatever text you like. It's as simple as that.
If you want to superimpose the text on a rotating theme, or you are using a lockscreen that involves HTML, that's where the lockbackground.html file comes in.
You can use the template I've uploaded here as a launching point: http://wow.danterner.promessage.com/...g Reward.zip
Inside that zip file you'll find a theme, and a file called en.plist.
SSH en.plist into /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/DateFormats (if you have an en.plist in that directory already, be sure to back it up first). Placing en.plist here will blank out the day and date from appearing on your lockscreen display. So you only have to do this part if you don't want the day and date to appear. If you'd rather put your phone number text somewhere else, just ignore this step.
The theme in the zip file is called "Rotating Reward.theme" You'll eventually wind up SSHing it into the /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx directory, and it should show up on your Winterboard list as would any other theme installed by Cydia. It won't be functional if you add it as-is, though, because there are some things you'll need to change.
First, you'll want to put some wallpapers in the wallpaper folder. However many you want, but they have to be numbered sequentially... 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc. There are some freeware programs that will do this type of batch renaming easily, and in fact I think windows itself can do this if I recall. Or just do it by hand, if you don't have too many wallpapers.
Second, you'll want to put some lockscreens in the lockscreen folder. Same deal - sequentially numbered.
If you want to use a custom icon set, just go ahead and add some icons to the Icons folder. Otherwise delete it or leave it alone.
Third, open up the "configuration" file with a text editor (notepad, wordpad, etc). Follow the instructions inside that file. Basically, it tells you to change the WPNUM variable to equal the number of wallpapers you put into the wallpapers folder, change the LOCK_WPNUM variable to equal the number of lockscreens, change the frequency that the images change to whatever you want, and change the image type to reflect the type of images you are using (jpg, png, etc). The image type has to be consistent - you can't mix and match. Save the changes you made.
Note that I didn't write the rotating script and take no credit for it.
Fourth, open up the LockBackground.html file with your text editor. Look for the HTML part that lists the phone number, and change the text there to whatever you like. Adjust the font size and color if you want. You can adjust where the text appears vertically on your lockscreen by adding or subtracting <BR> tags as needed. Save your changes.
Now SSH the whole Rotating Reward.theme folder to the /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx directory, and select it in Winterboard.
Taa-daa.
I think I made this sound more complicated than it is. There are apps in the regular app store that do relatively similar things, for about 99 cents, if this is too much work. They just don't do it with randomly rotating images of your own choosing.
this is my theme, its called Matte Nano on Cydia, i love everything about it except the weather in the background, how do i either change that to where i live ORRRR SSH and delete it?

Minimal Lockscreen, it can be found in cydia under the Modmyi source or the iSpazio source
