Blue - I like your lockscreen. Is that Intelliscreen you're using?

Doesn't the "Tap to Unlock" make it easy to accidentally unlock your phone?

No, that is Home Screen w/ Status Notifier 0.2.11 that I'm using for my lock screen. I've tweaked it around and you can see my files in post 877.

I'm sure it might be easier to accidentally unlock your phone with the tap to unlock feature but I prefer it to sliding my finger across.

ahh, well then that would require a tweak to the code of the slide, not just an aesthetic replacement, no?

wanna actually post it? lol, and up there^^^ how do I get a time changing background? can somebody write me the script or something?

Hmm, that's weird. I posted it, and the picture showed in my web browser. Then when I refresh the page, it's gone. Damn Picasa. I uploaded it flickr, here you go:

Why not just post it as an attachment using the forum feature. That's what it's there for.

Although I can see this one just fine.

It's just easier for me to take the screenshot on my phone, then use one of the apps that'll upload straight from the phone to Picasa or Flickr than to connect the phone to my PC, get the photo off my phone, and attach it.

Ah. OK. Makes sense. I forgot the iPhone can do that. :)

I downloaded that, and I had a previous version of that which worked fine, but this newer version is cooler, so I got this, and now my lock screen where the "Slide to Unlock" is, it only shows a picture of a lock, and I just tap there and it unlocks, I'd rather slide to unlock, how do I get that back?

EDIT: And I just noticed, the Date is repeated and is overlapping. I'll post a pic in a few.

You'll need to do a couple tweaks -

For the overlapping date in the clock area -

NOTE: To make this work, you need to hide the lockscreen date*
*does not apply on weather/notifier version.

for english language:
download this http://h4xr.org/006d
And place it into System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/DateFormats

Also, replace the UILCDBackground in the UIImages folder with this -
uilcdbackgroundft2.png

Then edit the LockBackground.html, search for 'body {' and change the padding to 'padding: 40px 0 0 0;'

To get back the slide to unlock, I believe you need to remove both folders under the Bundles folder for this theme.

Hey, I'm really new at this, can you tell me how to install this? I downloaded from the link you gave but am not sure where to go from there. Or if you could provide a link for a quick "how-to" on this. Thanks!

Need to SSH into your phone and copy the Home Screen folder into the <root\Library\Themes folder.

As far as the Status Notifier, traverse the compressed file till you're deep into the data.tar.gz folder and extract the Application, Library & System folders. Copy those folders to the <root> of the iPhone file system.

Reboot your phone and you should see an icon for Status Notifier and Home Screen should show up in your Winterboard.

Did all of the above, and changed the code in configureme.js to be my ZIP code...voila!

I'm using the Home Screen 2.0, which required me to learn how to SSH but it was worth it.

The theme is Tenuis with alot of the icons taken from the Tenuis thread

I also got my background from the thread, it is specifically made for this theme
