This looks good, how did u manage to remove the tap screen message behind the grumpled theme.. which is by default from weather elements theme.

It might be because I’m using a custom slider on top (in winterboard) of the gumpled theme which has the effect of blocking out the default one (that tap to unlock). However the weather HD theme is then on top of that custom slider which has the effect of blocking out that one and then only showing the weather HD slider.

This is how its layered in my winterboard:

If anyone’s interested I’ll try putting together a package of the exact setup im using so then you can just transfer it via SSH to your own phone and hopefully it should work just as well for you :) – will prolly have to adjust weather locale’s though :p

This is how I had it too until I realised that you don't need the stock sliders folder in winterboard.

You'll need OpenSSH to do this.

Inside the Stock Slider and text folder, navigate to Bundles>com.apple.TelephonyUI and move the contents to Gruppled Lockinfo.theme>Bundles>com.apple.TelephonyUI. You'll need to replace the contents already in there that are titled the same so you may also need to back up this folder

Back in the Stock Sliders and text folder navigate to Bundles>com.apple.springboard>en.lproj and move SpringBoard.Strings file into Gruppled Lockinfo.theme>Bundles>com.apple.springboard>en.lproj.

Delete the stock slider and text folder, repspring and it's done.

Good advice, that should work nicely too :)

A few people have been asking, so here it is, my theme in its entirety.

Unzip each archive pack (found below - or pick which ever elements you want) and place into iPhone theme folder via SSH and then order and activate in winterboard. This is how I’ve orded them and I have to say, I very rarely get any crashes or springboard errors:

Bare in mind you will have to change the weather locale's to your own for both Gruppled and Weather HD theme (unless you happen to live where I do :p). There are some great tutorials on this here:

and

Any questions shoot, and I'll try and help if I can :)

Enjoy!

Each icon was custom made using Adobe Fireworks. The square icons are actually much bigger than the default iPhone icons. The second page has 4 folders: utilities, games, media, and system

Thanks, XXXXX

Thanks for the DL of the files, XXXXX. Works well with my Gruppled. Quick question: is your file set for mm or inches when it rains or snows? I've been reading through the Weather thread and did find someone who uploaded an inches file, curious if yours is for the US or other (you are using Celsius, so I'm assuming non-US). I'm in the US, although here in Southern California we don't get much rain and no snow. :)

This is what I'm using:

Note that I didn't make any of this, and am not trying to take any credit for it.

It's just an amalgamation of Blue Thunder and Bluebird icons, Glass Orb dock that I colored in blue and shifted the icons so I could arrange them like I wanted, Gruppled LockInfo for the lock screen stuff and Gruppled Art for various icons, the sliders, etc.

I'm also running StatusNotifier with the blue WiFi Logo, 3G Fireball logo, MakeItMine and the Apple Signal Bars, and the "Blue Fire" lock battery.

Just had a lil looky and mines in set to mm, which is the default I believe? :)

and yup i'm non US - London in fact, where rain is unfortunately an all too common occurrence :(

Is there a Firefox browser for the Iphone or is this pictured below an icon for something else?

When I see some of these screenshots, it makes me really appreciate the fact that you guys aren't affiliated with Apple in any way. ;)
