I hope it received a dignified burialI know. I loved this iPod. Too bad the hard drive died.
You say that non of those are full-production models, so can I ask, where did you buy them? Do they have any internals at all? I ask because I am planning on giving a presentation to the PTA at my school in hopes of getting money to buy laptops for the students and I am looking for someplace to by just laptop cases so that I can give them an idea of what they will be getting.
I miss my old iriver slimx, if it still worked i'd still be using it... no that's a lie.

I hope it received a dignified burial. It would be almost worth keeping it just to have one of the first ones..

I just can't let you think that's anything special. It was my first iPod as well, but that is definitely an iPod with click wheel interface, aka 4th gen. Not even close to one of the first ones. Sorry to burst your bubble.
nokia n800 internet tablet... I hated that damn thing!! I think it is in the closet somewhere...![]()
The Sony Clie models were nice. Came very close to getting one.First thing that jumps to mind:
Sony Clié PEG-NX80V
Pretty cool device for it's time. I used to use it in class to take notes (believe it or not) Now it sits in storage. I'd have grabbed it to take a personal picture of it but I'm too lazy to rummage through the storage bins.

Not sure about the others, but most of what I have kept I am somewhat attached to.Cool thread. Some of you have a lot of stuff sitting around. Put it on craigslist, you'd be surprised how much money you can get by selling stuff on there. People will buy anything.
