under the lamp is a little black piece that allows me to move the lamp to different directions.. at least thats what i think it does haha.

and iPhone is on a little plastic dock that came with one of the cases i bought. So I two-sided taped it to the desk stand i put there, and now it doesn't move at all! Today however, if i can find a charging dock that will charge the iPhone while having the case on, i will definitely pick one up
