Wait...lol...I did get GH: World Tour, I just realized I posted the wrong photo. WOrld Tour is alright, I was expecting more songs.

Does anyone have GH for the Wii? I can't understand this-- Do I need to use the Wii Remote to move the cursor on the screen to select the game, hit start, then put the Remote into the guitar? It seems like such a hassle if that's what I have to do everytime...

My brother just got it for his Wii, and after playing a bit, it does appear that you have to select the game and push start with the wiimote and THEN put it in the guitar.

LOL i thought you had to do that too, but actually once you connect the wii remote you just use the black toggle on the guitar itself as it controls the curser. and then you can use the buttons on the guitar as well.
I have GH III, but not world tour but I am assuming it is the same.
Enjoy, GH is extremely addictive!!!

Got a new pair of Lucky Jeans and a pair of Bullboxer shoes.

Neither picture is the ACTUAL item, but I can't find them online right now, so these are pretty dern close.

Both items are from the wonder wife. Will go to my parents' house tomorrow and see what comes then. :)

No, You can put the Wiimote into the guitar, and then move around with the d-pad on the WiiMote or the stick

Stop being spoiled and whiny. Your parents wanted to make sure you got exactly what you wanted the first time around instead of having you mope around complaining when you got something you didn't. Considering the state of the economy these days, be grateful you're getting gifts at all. There are A LOT of families in much worse places than yours.

Well said.

I honestly don't care if they buy me something worth 1$ or something like a Mac. I just want them to put thought into it. All my life, my parents asked me on my b'days/Christmas what I wanted, and then took me along with them to buy me something. I always ended up with it never being wrapped and never actually having a surprise, and also me having it ~3-5 days in advance. Sure it was mostly clothes, but I don't mind it.

Awww diddums! My dad used to beat me and my mum up after coming home lashed from the pub but I guess you've had it hard. Sheesh!

Anyway, on a lighter note I got a rather spiffy Vivienne Westwood Swiss Army knife from my wonderful wife, who evidently knows to combine my love of stabbing things with high fashion :)

I received:

  • Nikon D40 Kit
  • Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet Aftershave
  • Armani Code Aftershave
  • Ted Baker Wallet
  • £260.00
  • Lots of socks and underwear (CK, Pierre Cardin, Ralph Lauren etc)
  • Car de-icer kit (I needed one of these badly!)
  • A mug for hot chocolate, selection boxes, and Mingles (chocolate mint things!)

I'm thinking of buying a 32" TV with the money. Either a Sony KDL-32V4000 or a Samsung LE32A457. I'm not sure - I download most programmes I like to watch on my MBP and watch them on that, and I'm also afraid a 32" would be too big for use at the desk. It would be good for me watching stuff in my bed, however. The deals on 32" TV's always seem to be better than those on 26" TVs!
