Technically it was a gift from my mom (and I'll probably pay more for accessories, ingredients, and gym days than she did) but I'm happy either way.

Post what you recently got for free!

I got an imedia transfer for Mac from giveawayoftheday, lots of people are trying it.
 
A bag of candy and a free coffee mug from my college. They gave out free mugs to the first 200 people in line after some concert thing. I didn't go to the concert, but I was at the right place at the right time. :D

My work bought me a copy of FCPX to put together a retirement video for one of the staff members here.......along with an nice condenser mic for my video camera.....and it's all mine afterwards. :D
 
My youngest daughter is busy redecorating her new house, this display cabinet was no longer required.

I have it all set up...so far, it looks good. Swiping cards is pretty easy, but you have to do it slowly and smoothly so the reader will read it.

My main concern was having the ability to access the bank account info on the iDevice. But that isn't a concern anymore. Once you enter the account # in, you can't access that info on the iDevice at all....you can only access that on a computer with a username and password.

I want to leave an iPod touch with the reader with the receptionist to process payments, but I didn't want her to have access to anything besides the ability to process payments.

My Western Digital Elements 1.5 TB External Hard Drive crapped out, and it was still within warranty. I called them, and they sent me a replacement. For some reason, they sent me a different model (A 1.5 TB MyBook Essentials). I called and told them that they sent the wrong one, and the rep told me that it was because they were out of stock on the Elements. But hold on.......he decided to send me a 3 TB Elements HD as an "upgrade replacement".

Where'd you get all that free? The most recent free item I got was a free parking pass at my place of work. Would have had to pay 150 bucks a month otherwise.

Apple gave me a "$100 off of a purchase of over $300" coupon to use in their online store. Long story short, the coupon didn't work properly, so the rep just gave me all of those items for free. All I had to pay for was for most of the 8GB iPod touch, which was also part of my order.
