An elderly neighbour of mine went into a care home this week, so I agreed to give her cat a new home.

What is it with cats and boxes?

My car didn't come with an iPod cable so I convinced them to just buy me this instead. Now I can carry my whole collection with me at all times and never worry about cords and such.

I moved to Orlando about 3 years ago, and have found that Universal and Disney have become our 'hangouts'. You'll have a great time!!

btw, to contribute to the thread, I just got this for free:

It's a 1:1400 scale Enterprise-D model in clear (for lighting). Should make an awesome project for when I finish my 1:350 scale Enterprise Refit (I sense a theme here...)

My sister gave it to me for my birthday. :)
Cool!! I had one of those but some pieces got lost before I could build it. :/ Do you have other Star Trek stuff? I want to build a TNG Phaser and other props but I can't find the best way to do so, do you have any ideas?

There are lots of great model kits for Star Trek currently available. I'm currently building a 1:350 scale Enterprise refit (definitely not free!). It's about 3 feet long when fully assembled and can be lit. I've also built other smaller kits that are much easier to build, but this is the granddaddy of them all!

Snagged a couple of these Klean Kanteen 16oz pints at this Frack Free Colorado rally yesterday. Worked as a stagehand, and they had these for the performers/speakers.

These are awesome for a college student!

I got a free 1.42 GHz Mac Mini G4 :). Somebody that I know had it and was considering to throw it away (Dead hard drive and no monitor to use it with) so I got it offered to me :). I'm about to buy a 7200 RPM, ~50 GB HDD to use it with... if anybody has a suggestion, they could PM me :).

I've always wanted the Lego Tower Bridge set ever since I saw it because, well, it's awesome and an iconic English landmark. I nearly purchased it when we went to Lego Land last year, but common sense kicked in as it's just over £200 and it's quite large.

I've only ever mentioned it once to my Mum, but that's what my parents decided to get me for my Birthday, which was a fantastic surprise.

I'm sure I'll find somewhere fitting to display it :D

A friend of mine gave me this, the smaller boxes are sealed, the Final Cut Pro one have only the manuals (huge books XD).
Sealed Mac OS 8,5 and 9, love it!

Google/ASUS Nexus 7! I was lucky enough to win it in the TechnoBuffalo Tegra Tuesday giveaway (out of 20,000 entries!) Very excited and grateful for the opportunity. Gonna take a while to get here though, since it is in California and I'm in the UK :D

The place that I work has shelves and shelves stacked with old optics and projectors that they're getting rid of. I saw this and they said that I could have it.

 How the hell is that even possible?? is it fully working? I've been looking for an iMac G4 on eBay lately and they don't go away for under $200 shipped!
