Oh and I forgot I got free movie tickets from my insurence company for the new Star Trek coming out next month.

I freelance for a company with owners who don't know squat about tech. They were getting rid of a bunch of gear. BetaCam decks, Broadcast monitors, amps, racks, PCs, the works. There was a Mac Pro that they claimed didn't work, so I grabbed it. I also grabbed an AV box worth $1k on eBay, a studio rack, a Beta recorder, and a ton of other gear. Working on the Pro now. Has a few issues, but still functions normally with external parts!
That's awesome! I work at the surplus store at the University I go to and we sell Mac Pro's for dirt cheap.
A Cadburys rep came into where I work a couple of weeks ago and gave me some of these new Dairy Milks to try

People in front of me placed a complicated drink order causing me to wait 5+ minutes for my starbucks yesterday. they apologized and gave me my drink for free

I've been trying to get one of these at working since my first day and finally got one today. I had a friendly wager going with a coworker to see who could track one down first (without buying). I won.
