I can't start off I'm afraid, as I'm still waiting for my Macbook to arrive ... but would love to see what kind of cases people have got going on out there!

Ignore the TV and stuff on the floor. I'm having a bit of a clearout.

It's a Be.Ez LArobe (Autumn) Khaki sleeve.

I got the Zeroshock III from Shinza.com for my MacBook. The inside anti-shock material feels really cool. It's almost like that foam they use in "space foam" beds. It only compresses when put under a lot of pressure, such as when you drop your MacBook.

EDIT: Is there any easy way to stop Photo Booth from mirroring the image? It's driving me crazy.

Tumi - nice stuff, although a little spendy. This is what I use for MBP, along with an InCase neoprene sleeve.

Here are images I took before a trip when I was deciding what type of laptop bag and sleeve to buy.

I bought this laptop case for my MacBook Pro. It's the Kensington Contour Terrain Messenger. It's reccomended by The American Chiropractic Associaton so I figured that was a plus. It's also got some extra protecting shock thing incase I drop it. I got a pretty sweet deal on it at Circuit City.

I like this case soo far.

I have the CaseLogic Shuttle case, that I put in another bag, or just carry under my arm. It is a great case for what it is worth, especially the fact it has a pocket in the front for things such as the power brick.

Finally a case with a spot for the power adapter

who would have thought out of the millions of cases someone would have finally got it right?

Well the majority of 'sleeve' style cases are intended to be slim - providing space for the power brick doubles the thickness & is hence rather undesirable. If you want space for the power brick, you should be looking for a bag, not a sleeve.

I'm another user of the be.ez LArobe, which lives permanetly inside my leather Visconti messenger bag;
