It doesn't show the Start-Up disk? How odd  You sure?

To get the  logo as the start up disk: Have the name of your hard drive (start up disk) highlighted to where you're going to change the name. Then, press Alt+Shift+K.

Enjoy

Peace

okay here's the screen shot,
now i wonder why it doesn't show my start up disk :(

I'm still trying to figure out what determines if it shows your Startup Disk or not. I thought it showed up only when you had a disc in the optical drive or an external HD connected, etc. I don't know if that's the case, though, since mine shows up and I don't have an external HD plugged in or anything. I thought it was some sort of bug that appeared when upgrading to 10.4.9 on my Mac mini, but I'm on 10.4.10 on my iMac and it's doing the same thing. Hmm.

First Mac

My friend felt he had to bring me to the Mac side. So he gave me a G3 which I overclocked from 300Mhz to 450 and installed 10.5 on. Added a heatsink fan and all is well. Which was a fun little project. I'm thinking about buying something like a G5 now. I included another picture of my setup too. Synergy is one of the best and easiest pieces of software I've ever used also. Works like a charm.
