my Current setup: not much of a setup lol, it was my first airsoft gun

and I just now ordered a complete set-up
a tokyo marui VSR-10 with a bipod and scope

Real guns > Paintball guns > Airsoft guns > Nerf guns > Water guns > Lego guns

You forgot rubber band guns ;)

And nerf guns can be awesome, especially if you take them apart and replace the spring with a slightly more hardcore version... makes for some awesome nerf wars.

I know that nowadays the "transparent" part is really a smoked plastic that's really only transparent under harsh light. Looks pretty much like the real thing.
 
I mostly agree, airsoft guns are better then paintball guns though.. they are much more realistic....

Moreover, the pellets of airsoft are very cheap compared to paintball guns. The kinetic energy of a paintball gun is higher than that of an airsoft gun.
