Hi all!

I’m wondering what Apple products you use daily and can’t live without! I did something similar last year which was pretty fun so I thought I’d continued the yearly tradition to include new purchases.

I was all set to post a picture and give you a list - but then I realized you are probably meaning what Apple device products I use and that list is quite minimal.

Primary phone - iPhone 11 Pro Max, 512GB

Secondary phone - iPhone 6s+ 128GB.

iPad: 6th Gen iPad, 128GB.

My ecosystem is actually Mac, not iPhone/iPad/iDevice, and that's a whole other list.

Ooooo, fun! OK, I'm going to combine myself, my wife and my stepson, the collective family living in the house:

--M1 iMac (yellow)
--iPhone 13 mini (blue)
--iPhone 13 mini (red)
--iPhone SE 2020 (red)
--iPad 3rd generation (white)
--iPad (white)
--iPad Air 2 (white/silver)
--iPod nano 7th generation (red)
--Apple TV 3rd generation (black)
--Apple Watch series 5 (aluminum, space gray)
--Apple Watch bands: blue sport loop, space gray milanese loop, pride braided loop

Until very recently it would have included an Airport Extreme. We've also got lying around but no longer in use an Airport Express (last used a couple of years ago), an iPhone SE 2016 (silver, in use six months ago) and an iPhone 3GS (white).

I think it's expected that a required part of the ecosystem is iCloud, as well.

I can say that I use all Apple products that I own every day.

iPhone 13 mini, iPad Air 4, AirPods Pro, Apple TV.

Thinking of getting back to the Mac for some specific tasks. Shouldn’t waste too much money on it. Really shouldn’t.

Nice!!!
I've done a complete video about my setup few days ago! The video is in Italian but you can see it anyway in action (from 0:30)

Then I have AppleTV which is HomeKit master, a lot of HomeKit accessories. AppleTV is also a co-op game friend madness with 4 Nimbus+. Apple Watch 6, iPhone 13 and magsafe everywhere :D

In our household:

- my iPhone 13 Mini
- wife's 13 Pro
- iPhone SE (1st Gen), still kicking around as a floater/media player
- iPad Mini 4
- Apple TV 4K
- HomePod
- HomePod Mini
- iMac M1
- 2x MacBook Air M1
- AirPods Max
- AirPods (2nd gen)
- a couple random peripherals like a Magic Keyboard and an extra Magic Mouse.

Just guessing, looks like we probably spent ~$7K on all this 😱 -- but on the other hand we use all the gear more or less constantly. Between my iPhone, Mac and Apple TV alone, it's probably not very frequently that I'm not interacting with an Apple device. Probably safe to say that over the years I've probably spent $20-30K on Apple stuff, between iPhones, iPods (back in the day) and a long succession of Macs going back to my first Mac SEII in college. Sounds like a lot, but it's around the price of a basic new car and I've gotten plenty of use out of everything.

Mid 2011 iMac 21.5
iPad Pro 10.5 64GB
iPhone 8+ 64GB
iPod Touch 7th Generation

All are in perfect working order with zero issues. The iMac, with its upgrades, actually runs far better than when it was new. It’s only downside is it’s stuck at High Sierra, but so far that hasn’t been any issue whatsoever. That said it’s quite likely I will finally upgrade to the new iMac 24 when it gets the M3.

I have zero reason to replace the iPad Pro 10.5, but I am curious about the forthcoming 10th gen iPad as well as maybe the next generation iPad Air.

I really like my iPhone 8+ and have no reason to upgrade anytime soon.

I am considering adding a HomePod Mini to my ecosystem. I have never owned or ever had any interest in an Apple Watch. And while I understand MacBooks are an important item for Apple I generally don’t like laptops.
