The thing I do not understand is why Coconut reports that my Air 11' 3,1 is 9 months old...? Wasn't it announced at the end of October 2010?

Perhaps it had already been manufactured? Surely they were in production prior to public announcement... that way Apple could have ample supply to sell relatively soon after?
